We live in Tampa Palms not in SF as Yelp want’s to place us. My wife and I first met Carlos about two years ago. We had bought a townhouse for our daughter and since it was completely empty and in need of repainting and re-decorating we searched for a professional painter. For many years my wife had always enjoy doing interior painting and has painted almost all of our homes many times. But we’ve got to that point in life where some places are a little too far to reach or sometimes going to take too long, that we needed some professional help. I believe we had three or four painters come out and tell us what they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and the materials they were going to use. When Carlos came out, it’s obvious that he was in fact a pro. He listened to what we wanted and made some recommendations of his own that were very timely and wise. After deciding what we wanted to do, he quickly provided us with an estimate, an expected job time, and a choice of start dates. I don’t remember if he was the least expensive or the most expensive but I do clearly remember, he was the most professional in his knowledge and presentation and assessment of our needs. After we decided to go with him we contacted him and confirmed our start date. The morning of our start date his crew showed up exactly on time and they were all just as professional as he was. Carlos doesn’t show up with just him and maybe one other guy. He clearly understands people’s desires to have the job completed as quickly as possible but also with a high degree of quality. For my daughter’s townhouse of approximately 1300 ft. he brought in himself and a crew of five. They completely repainted the interior ceilings and all the trim and we’re done in one day. Carlos then came by again to make sure we were completely happy with the job and to see if we had any concerns before accepting payment. Again I don’t recall if he was the most expensive or the least expensive but I do remember his price was very fair and after seeing his professionalism and that of his crew and the quality of their work, I knew that his was the best price for the quality of work that we expected and received. I knew then that if I ever needed to have a painter again or was ever asked for a recommendation Carlos would be our first, and likely only, call.

Almost 2 years later, about a month ago, we decided to have our own home repainted. My wife had gone back to her old habits of doing some of the wall painting as we were doing an almost complete color change in the house. However being a two-story home with a 25 foot foyer ceiling and an open second-story walkway it was obvious that the skills and strengths needed were beyond our capabilities. Once again we knew who to call … Carlos. Although I know that Carlos prefers to do multi room or whole house projects, he remembered us from the previous work and said he would be happy to accommodate whatever we needed. He quickly came out and once again gave us some good advice, very good suggestions and a very fair estimate. We scheduled him and his crew to come out a few days later and once again they showed up on time and well prepared for the task at hand. Although this job was a bit smaller in scope, it was more difficult due to the high ceilings and open walkway. Again, at 8:00am Carlos showed up with four or five painters and they immediately got to work. By noon time they were done with the wall painting and by 3 PM they had finished all of the trim painting and other work that needed to be done. My wife and I looked over the work and once again we were very satisfied with the quality of the work, the professionalism shown by his staff who even helped us move some of the heavier pieces of furniture and the quality of their work. I realize, just as we had done, that many people do much of their own painting for different reasons. Some people get some enjoyment from it and some people just can’t afford to have a professional do the work or need the work done in the time frame that they are on able to do the work themselves. But all I can say that Carlos provided everything we needed in a professional manner, on time and our schedule at a cost we felt was very fair for the scope of the job. He will continue to be our first call in the future and one of the few businesses I would recommend to my friends.

Carlos did an amazing job painting my 2 rooms, he listened to my vision and contributed to making it come true. Price is a big plus, I searched through a lot of reviews and different painters. Carlos was very eager to give me a estimate the same day I called. Would definitely recommend to everyone and will be using him again soon.

Looking for an honest and quality painter? Carlos is your go to person. He came out and gave us a very good estimate, explained everything he was going to do and within 2 days the work was completed and exactly as discussed and for the price discussed.
